48 hour film project

Are you a lover of video/film production? Do you want some hands-on experience making a film in a super-short time schedule? Then The Offenderz want you!
My name is Lisa Hallond, I am director of the improv comedy troupe "The Offenderz"

I, along with the troupe, will be producing a film for The 48 Hour Film Project this coming weekend ---***--- Friday June 19,2009 starting at 7:00 pm ---***--- see the official site at http://www.48hourfilm.com/cincinnati/
If you are familiar with the National Film Challenge then you will be excited to learn this is exactly like the NFC but in a shorter time span. We have only 48 hours to concept, write, produce, edit and score a 4 to 7 minute film -- Even though this is a crammed schedule, I just want to stress Safe Film Making -- no risks will be taken in order to make the schedule, and everyone must agree to "safety first".
Our team is in need of some additional members who want to be part of a fun-filled, production weekend including :
PAs, camera assistants, editors, gaffers, make-up / hair artist,
set design, wardrobe, and a few actors and actresses

to round out the cast. If you know someone who would be interested, please feel free to forward them my information. We are looking for adults who will be available Friday night and all day Saturday. Sunday we’ll be editing.
This film challenge is unique as we will not obtain our genre or roles until the first night of the shoot. Per the contest rules, all positions are on a VOLUNTEER basis. Each volunteer team member will receive credit on the film for their contribution. There is no pay, but a lot of fun. This film will also be posted on our YouTube channel, and at the 48 HR Screening on Sat June 27 10AM – 9PM at the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center in Covington, tickets are $10 and details can be found at http://www.48hourfilm.com/cincinnati/.
This is a perfect opportunity for people who want to be seen, and/or work behind the scenes, and have a movie credit on their resume!
