DOMATA PEKO, REY MAUALUGA AND JONATHAN FANENE BRING PLAYERS TOGETHER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR TSUNAMI VICTIMS IN AMERICAN SAMOA AT SPECIAL BENGALS BASH FRIDAY
At this Friday’s Bengals Bash (Oct. 23), Domata Peko, Rey Maualuga and Jonathan Fanene will bring team members together to raise funds for the families of their homeland, American Samoa, that were victims of the tsunami. The Bengals, DO Downtown Restaurant Group, 700 WLW, Local 12 and Cincinnati.com will host this special Bengals Bash starting at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Backstage Alley, directly across from the Aronoff ticket window on Walnut between 6th & 7th Streets. Program begins at 6:30 p.m.
Fans will be able to participate in a raffle that includes baskets with jerseys and memorabilia of their favorite players, tickets to games and other prizes with the proceeds going to the American Samoan tsunami victims. The BenGals cheerleaders will be signing their new calendar and 700 WLW’s Seg Dennison will MC Friday’s benefit and warm-up before the Bengals host the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Special Guests at the Bengals Bash include Bootsy Collins and the Jr. Pro Ben-Gals. Fans will also enjoy live music performed by R & B favorite
Basic Truth.
Bengals fans can purchase an official Bengals Bash cup for $1 and with that cup fans can get refills until 9:00 p.m. for $1 at any of the DO Downtown restaurants.
